Ivory manikin rehousing

While interning at the New York Academy of Medicine’s Gladys Brooks Book and Paper Conservation lab I worked helped to rehouse a collection of seventeenth century ivory manikins. I created and customized the inner trays for all the manikins and parts (lids, beds, ect), and finished the entire housing for one box of manikins.

The NYAM blog post about this project can be found here.
